1. Who We Are
OnSemaglutide.com (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an independent informational health and wellness website at https://onsemaglutide.com. Contact: privacy@onsemaglutide.com.
2. What Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Email address — when you subscribe to our weekly update.
- Name, email address and order details — when you buy a digital product from our shop.
- Anything else you choose to send us by email.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs — our host records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and site operation.
- Usage analytics — pages viewed, the referring site or ad campaign tags (UTM parameters), approximate country, device and browser type, and clicks on key buttons such as calculators, sign-up and add-to-cart. This is collected through PostHog without cookies or local storage, unless you accept cookies in our banner (see Section 5). IP addresses are discarded and not stored, and we do not build profiles of individual visitors.
- Cookies — see Section 5.
We do not collect payment card numbers, health or medical records, or government ID numbers. We use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics (PostHog) to count page views and clicks — see Section 5. We do not use advertising or tracking pixels.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to send the emails you asked for, deliver and support products you purchase, keep the site secure, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or share your email with advertisers.
4. Email Updates & Consent
When you subscribe, you consent to receive our email updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing privacy@onsemaglutide.com.
5. Cookies
We use only cookies needed for the site to work — for example, cookies that remember the contents of your cart during checkout and keep administrators signed in. By default our analytics (PostHog) runs without cookies. Other cookies are used only if you accept them in our cookie banner: with Statistics consent, PostHog sets a first-party cookie and records your visit (pages, scrolling, mouse movement and clicks, with everything typed into forms hidden), kept for 30 days, so we can see where the site is confusing and fix it; with Marketing consent, we load the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which sets cookies and tells Meta which pages you viewed and when you sign up, so we can measure our ads. If you decline or ignore the banner, none of these load. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link. Ad clicks arrive with campaign tags in the link, which our analytics records in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though checkout may not work without them.
6. Service Providers
We use a small number of providers to run the site. Each processes data only to provide its service and operates under its own privacy policy:
- Hostinger — website hosting and Hostinger Reach (email subscriptions and delivery).
- PayPal — payment processing. Payment details are entered on and handled by PayPal; we never see or store your card information.
- PostHog — website analytics (United States). Cookie-free unless you accept Statistics cookies, which turns on visit recording. IP addresses are discarded.
- Meta Platforms — only if you accept marketing cookies (Meta Pixel, used to measure our ads).
- Easy Digital Downloads — the shop software on our site that records orders and delivers download links.
- Klaviyo — We use Klaviyo to send our newsletter and order emails.
7. Affiliate Links
We do not currently use affiliate links. If that changes, we will disclose it clearly on the affected pages and update this policy.
8. Medical Disclaimer
OnSemaglutide.com provides informational content only. Nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly or any pharmaceutical company. See our full Medical Disclaimer.
9. Children’s Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact privacy@onsemaglutide.com and we will delete it.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to receive a copy of it, or to withdraw consent. Email privacy@onsemaglutide.com to make a request; we respond within 30 days.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you may request to know, correct or delete the personal information we hold. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
EU/EEA and UK residents (GDPR): our lawful bases are consent (email updates), performance of a contract (orders) and legitimate interests (site security and aggregate, cookie-free analytics). You may withdraw consent at any time and may complain to your local data protection authority.
11. Data Security
We use HTTPS encryption, limited account access and regular software updates. No internet transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your information.
12. Data Retention
We keep your email address while you are subscribed and delete it within 30 days of unsubscribing, unless you have also made a purchase. Order records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “Last Updated” date above and, for material changes, notify subscribers by email.
